If you want to sleep outside every-day, that’s when 13.5 tog is advisable. It’s very thick, in a room where there would be radiator(heater) do not make the mistake of getting this tog, you won’t enjoy your sleep because it will be too warm for you.
Getting a double duvet is advised (even if your room is fitted with a single bed). A double duvet keeps you very warm during winter compare to single. For second year when you move out of your single room and you move to a double room, you won’t need to buy a new duvet (you already have a double). This saves you money
In my first year, I got my duvet from Argos for a price of £20.
